Ordered this Btr5 to use it as my replacement when my other btr5 is out of battery. Nothing to say about the btr5, it’s just probably the best portable dac/amp for the price.
The leather case is really nice but the problem is that if you use it, the btr5 won’t fit the plastic case to hook it to your shirt or trousers.

When using USB DAC, you might need to download drivers. In my Windows 10, I had to unplug and plug the DAC twice for it to detect it, but after downloading drivers it works instantly.

Incredible as always. I didn’t want to buy 1000xm4 (don’t like sound and don’t need NC) in replacement of my mdr-1a and preferred to buy this little boy. It’s quite heavy for its size, looks amazing. Sound got more texture, bass punches are now more powerful. And that’s via wireless connection! I’m speechless.
Still not too comfortable to use in winter as you got to hide everything under clothing, but finally I’m able to freely take my phone out of pocket as no wires attached to it.

It’s incredible how such a tiny glass rectangle can do so much. It’s a powerful amplifier with 3.5mm 80mW output and 2.5mm 250mW BALANCED (!!!), and as a convenient bluetooth receiver, it uses AAC codec with iphones and sounds beautiful, despite not using the LDAC codec from Sony. I prefer to plug it as a wired amp with my PC or with my iphone, using the usb-lightning mfi “camera adapter”, it sounds the best really in comparison!
